Just saw this in the papers today. I didn’t know that one needs to pay to watch Chingay parade … I always thought it was free … just stand by the road and watch when they parade by.

But I guess they brought in a lot more famous stuffs in this years parade and need to “recover cost”. Plus having a seat to watch the parade should mean you can watch it more comfortably.
