FREE New Year’s Eve Concert @ The Singapore Flyer
Posted by: | CommentsLooks like the Singapore Flyer may not be flying tonight BUT that does not mean that there will be no celebration tonight over at the Singapore Flyer.
For a start there is a FREE concert that will be held there at the waterfront Flyer Theatre.
In celebration of the new year, the newest tenant at Singapore Flyer, Love The World, will stage a FREE concert “Concert of Hope†at the waterfront Flyer Theatre on 31 December, 2008 from 9pm to 2am. Party revellers can look forward to exciting back-to-back performances by local Christian rock groups as they usher in 2009.
Besides most dining venue are packed to capacity around the island and you probably will not be able to get a table even if you had the money. But Singapore Flyer has a unique situation where the restaurants business are down due to the Singapore Flyers shutdown.
Hence, there might be available tables for booking a New Year Eve dinner even today. To sweeten the deal, you get the concert plus enjoy the Marina Bay countdown fireworks together at one venue.
Besides enjoying the free concert, the Flyer compound also provides an ideal venue for the public to catch the Marina Bay countdown fireworks.
So check them out if you haven’t done so.
Cheers,
James
Make Sure That Your Packet Of Cigarettes Has Paid Tax
Posted by: | CommentsHi Folks,
This is just a reminder for folks who smoke to check that your merchandise have paid taxes. Those that are taxed would look like the one in the picture below.
For a packet of duty-unpaid cigarettes, buyers stand to face a minimum fine of $500 or prosecution in Court.
