Short Term Loan To Help Your Credit Crunch
Posted by: | CommentsHi Folks,
I read recently that more people are defaulting or paying the minimum on their credit card payment.
It’s a worrying trend but we the world IS in recession and most people expected something like this would happen.
If you ARE really rolling your credit, you might want to get this below … might help (if you can secure the approval)
If you have an outstanding of SGD 10,000 rolling on your credit card, at a 24% per annum, you will end up paying SGD 9,600 over 48 months – that’s excluding principle.
The above credit facility allows you to settle your outstanding principle now and repay at only SGD 298 per month (just SGD 98 more then the rolling interest) and the total interest is SGD only SGD 4,304 over 48 months.
Makes (money) sense right?
Cheers,
James

Surviving The Recession Tip 3: Discounts Discounts Everyday
Posted by: | CommentsHi Folks,
If you have not read our Surviving The Recession Series, check them out. This is the 3rd post.
Previously, we talked about using your credit card discretely and ways to stretch your dollar to fight inflation.
Today, I’ll talk about something simpler and many of you are already employing it.
REBATES & DISCOUNTS.
Why would you want to pay more if you can get some rebates or discounts just by flashing a particular membership card or pay using a particular credit card?
Or why would you not apply for a particular credit card which gives discounts or rebates at places you shop daily or very often?
It makes no sense to throw away your money that way.
