Hi Folks,
The “Freebie” for Singtel Fixed line Broadband deal this IT Show 2010 is either the Apple Macbook or this Acer Aspire 4820T Notebook.
Unlike the Apple Macbook deal (which is available only for 11 & 12 Mar 10), this Acer Aspire 4820T Notebook looks to be available throughout the whole IT Show 2010 event.

So how good is this Acer Notebook?
I have never seen or used it but based on the specs alone, it should be pretty good (it’s based on the latest Intel Core i5 Processor).
Plus this model is exclusive to Singtel … if past experience holds true, it should be pretty exclusive (i.e. you cannot get the same bundle elsewhere. Sometime, you can’t even buy it elsewhere).
So if you can re-contract or need a fixed line broadband and this bundle looks good … well … what are you waiting for?

The one being bundle is a Intel HD graphic … i.e. shared graphic.
But the upgrade version (for $499) comes with ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5650 with Switchable™ Graphics technology (1GB dedicated DDR3 VRAM) <- this one is dedicated graphics

Hmmm …. internal drive. I don’t see it mentioned anywhere so I think it doesn’t come with one (didn’t check their demo units if it had one).
But best to ask before you sign on the contract or recontract it.
