Apple pricing is pretty well controlled and at the beginning probably short on supply … the best bet would be to order direct from Apple … that’s what I do
BTW, pre-orders starts on 12 Mar 2010, so you might want to check Apple Online Store on that date

April 3rd is for US Launch.
Apple have not announce when Singapore will get the iPad yet … my guess is maybe around July 2010 at the earliest.
If you need one now … you might need to order direct from the US via a concierge service such as vPost, Borderlinx, etc.

Hey Ryan,
Those folks use drop addresses in the US.
When you register for their service, they will give you a US address so that you can direct the delivery to the US Address (since they don’t ship to Singapore, for now).
The concierge service will pick up the goods and deliver to your Singapore address after that – You just need to pay the delivery charges to the concierge between US and Singapore for most part.

The concierge services will provide you with a valid US address (typically their warehouse/holding area) so don’t worry if you don’t have a US address

Oh Yes, i have one more question, lets say if i buy a iPad from the US and it brakes down or goes wrong, what do i do? do i take to the nearest apple store or do i said it back to the US? ( but i don't really want to send it to the US )

Hey Ryan,
It's unclear at this moment if the iPad has International Warranty.
If it does, servicing here is not an issue. You may want to clarify this with Apple US before placing an order.
