Where Are The New Places That You Cannot Smoke From 1st Jan 2009

Hi Folks,

This are the places that you cannot smoke at from 1st Jan 2009 onwards. So if you smoke, do take note. Especially for the first few days where the enforcement officers are most “on the ball” (local term for “high alert” or “most active”) to “advice” offenders.

New “No-Smoke” Places

  • Lift Lobbies
  • Markets
  • Multi-Storey & Basement Carparks
  • Hotel Lobbies
  • Ferry Terminals
  • Playgrounds
  • Exercise Areas
  • Non Air-conditioned Shopping Centres, Shops, Factories & Offices
  • Within 5 metres of Entrances & Exits
