My White iPhone 4 In A Official Ferrari Flip Case

Did you bought anything over the weekend?

Well … I got myself a new White iPhone 4 16GB and an Official Red Ferrari Flip Case.

Here I will just share some pictures and some updates with the iPhone 4 White and what I think about the Official Ferrari Flip Case.

The iPhone 4 White

Well … it’s still an iPhone 4, functions like the iPhone 4 Black and apparently … the death grip doesn’t seem to be affecting it anymore (or very little now).

Applying the death grip only drops the bar 1 notch (instead of going almost to zero) … so it looks like Apple fixed the problem.

Maybe the iPhone 4 Blacks were fixed too! Who knows?

About the color … some say it’s yellowish white … some say it’s not exactly white … I said it looks marble white when I first saw it.

Now if I hold it under my reading lamp … it looks yellowish white. If I look at it under my daylight PLC lights … they look a bit bluish white. And if I look at it under direct sunlight … it’s marble white.

So what color is it … it doesn’t really matter … as long as you like what you see … and I love what I am seeing … that’s good enough for me.

The Official Ferrari iPhone Case

There is only 2 reasons why I love the Ferrari Flip Case on first sight … the Red color and the Silver Prancing Horse.

But I found 2 other reasons to love it after I bought it … the stitch work and the nice leather smell (yes, real leather).

The camera hole looks like it was shaped in such a way (thinner on the flash side) so as not to hinder the flash and cast a shadow over the image.

I don’t see any shadows (like those when you take wide angle shots with built-in flash on a DSLR) while taking pictures using the iPhone with this case.

I prefer flip case with it’s solid protection to the front and back of the phone when not in use.

The Official Ferrari Flip Case (like most flip cases) utilise the four corners to hold the phone in the case.

The material feels like some sort of premium rubbery plastic that does not scratch and all the edges are rounded … very thoughtful design.

Overall, I’m very happy with both the iPhone 4 White and the Official Ferrari Case.

Pricing And Availability

You can now get your iPhone at Singtel, M1 and StarHub but Apple Store still says “Coming Soon“.

As for the Official Ferrari Case by CG Mobile … I got mine at a Compass Point push cart outside Singtel Shop. I saw the same case at Funan and at a push cart at Harbourfront level 2 too.

List price for the case is S$79 … I got mine at S$78 (it was launch at IT Show 2011 at a special price of S$69 … if I recall correctly) … it’s leather … real leather and of course, it’s Ferrari.
